I feel weird abotu this issue because the show has clearly said different races are different species.
So I get weirded out when I see non-white humanized ponies. The continuity loving pedantic bastard nerd in me just flips out. It’s like I expect one thign and see another. :|
Not true. Saphire Shore’s voice is very clearly black. I think that debunks the whole “the show has clearly said” thing. :I
Similar to the Rarity issue.
The pony is white so all artists must interpret him as being white. We must show no creativity or free will when drawing a humanized character, because if your head canon his skin color is not what’s on OUR canvas.
If that;s how you feel, then don’t bother looking at the art. Click the back button, you’re just going to make yourself look like a jack ass other wise.
I have yet to see the movie Immortals. Has anyone watched this? If so, is it worth it? I saw the DVD in stores today and was curious….But not curious enough to buy it XD
I found laughable. I mean, it was extremely cliche, and predictable, and my friend and I had nothing nice to say about it. I basically found it as bad as the Clash of the Titans remake, but then again, this is just my opinion. Others may disagree.
A while ago I was friends with a Brony who was big into promoting racial equality in fan-art and fan-fiction, he got really pissed off when the whole “the Last Round Up”/Derpy’s voice changing thing happened.
One day the subject of sexuality came up, and I told him I was a bisexual leaning towards women (I’m a girl). He proceeded to call me the scum of the earth and a dirty c*ntmunche and said I should leave the MLP fandom because I was scummy etc etc insult insult.
